Harrods Celebrates Easter with Fabergé Transformation

Dec 1, 2023

After Valentine’s Day festivities conclude, shopping destinations and restaurants begin preparations for Easter celebrations. Harrods, renowned for its unique approaches to various holidays, will once again celebrate Easter in a grand manner at its London store.

Teaming up with the legendary jeweler Fabergé, Harrods will mark Easter with an opulent Fabergé salon and exhibition area. The store’s prominent windows on Brompton Road and its facade will be adorned with Fabergé flags. The event, celebrating the art of gifting, will feature Harrods’ windows showcasing Fabergé’s Imperial Easter Eggs, catering to their esteemed clientele and highlighting contemporary jewelry pieces.

Visitors will have the chance to see historic Fabergé treasures, including the rare Apple Blossom Egg, designed in 1901. This masterpiece, crafted from gold, diamonds, and nephrite, will be displayed for the first time in the UK outside of a museum setting.

The lavish salon will also feature a unique collection of jewelry designed for Fabergé by the Parisian artist jeweler Frédéric Zaavy. This collection, making its debut since its creation, honors the late Frédéric Zaavy.

Additionally, a Fabergé “Egg Bar” will allow customers to explore iconic egg pendants. An in-store engraving service will offer the opportunity to personalize these precious gold pendants with special messages. Harrods’ digital space will also have surprises for visitors.

To commemorate their Easter collaboration, Fabergé has crafted a limited-edition Spiral Tassel Pendant. This playful, modern, diamond-set egg with a gemstone tassel, featuring amethyst, tsavorite, or spinel, will be available exclusively at Harrods starting April 1, 2014.

The Easter celebration at Harrods will run from April 1 to April 21. This event, aimed at enticing shoppers and Fabergé enthusiasts, is expected to boost sales during this festive season.

This collaboration is not their first; last year, Fabergé’s Emotion rings illuminated Harrods’ windows, and the Russian jewelry firm also featured in the department store with the ‘The Art of Colour’ advertising campaign.
