Halloween Returns to Disneyland

Disneyland Park will be filled with Disney villains, Mickey Mouse, and his friends in Halloween costumes as Halloween Time returns to Disneyland Resort from September 17 to October 31. The season’s highlights include the return of Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy, a haunted version of the popular Tomorrowland ride, and the Haunted Mansion Holiday, a blend of Halloween and Christmas inspired by “Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas.” Additionally, guests can enjoy the new nighttime water show, “World of Color,” at Disney California Adventure Park.
Halloween Time offers families the opportunity to experience seasonal attractions and decor, and interact with beloved Disney characters in whimsical Halloween costumes. Guests can also have spooky fun with Disney villains. The popular private-party event, Mickey’s Halloween Party, will return for 10 special nights in October.
This year, Mickey’s Halloween Party will take place at Disneyland with a new name. This ticketed event invites adults and children to dress up and trick-or-treat at the resort. The event is scheduled for select nights in October, including Halloween night. Highlights of the event include:
- Trick-or-treating along “Mickey’s Hide-and-Go-Treat Trails”
- New dance parties at Tomorrowland Terrace and the French Market
- The “Halloween Screams” fireworks show hosted by Jack Skellington
- New surprises in the “Mickey’s Costume Party” parade, performed twice nightly
- Character photo opportunities with Mickey, princesses, and other favorites
- Early access to Disneyland three hours before the party starts
- Nearly all favorite Disneyland rides and attractions
Advance tickets for Mickey’s Halloween Party are priced at $49 on most days, while tickets on the event days are $54. Tickets for October 31 are $59.
Favorite Disney characters, including Mickey, will wear their favorite costumes. It’s a perfect environment for fun, special holiday treats, interactive games, spirited music, and nightly character parades celebrating the season.
For Halloween fun, guests can enjoy Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy in Tomorrowland, where the adventure turns haunted with ghosts appearing out of the darkness and reaching out as guests speed through space. The ride includes eerie sound effects, haunting music, and thrilling drops.
Jack Skellington returns to the Haunted Mansion to bring back Haunted Mansion Holiday, which combines Halloween spookiness with Christmas traditions, inspired by “Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas.” The ride includes the traditional Halloween/Christmas gingerbread house in the Mansion Ballroom with new spooky surprises.
Halloween Time also features:
