Grace Bay Club Unveils Cutting-Edge Glass-Edge Infinity Pool

Grace Bay Club, one of the Caribbean’s most prestigious resorts, has completed a million-dollar renovation featuring an exclusive adults-only glass-edge infinity pool and bar. This modern design, paired with exceptional luxury service, offers Grace Bay Club guests a sophisticated poolside experience ideal for both relaxation and enjoyment. Significant upgrades have also been made to the resort’s Anani Spa Fitness Center and Boutique. The redesign, set to be finished by early November, infuses a contemporary atmosphere into the resort while preserving the classic beauty of its tropical environment.
“We take great pleasure in providing our loyal guests with the finest amenities,” said Nikheel Advani, COO and Principal of Grace Bay Resorts. “Year after year, we demonstrate this commitment by listening to our guests and understanding what is most important to them. The adults-only pool has been a defining feature of Grace Bay Club since its opening in 1993, which is why we chose to highlight this impressive glass-edge infinity pool in our renovation project this year.”
The renovation, conceived by the Miami-based boutique design firm Siskind Carlson Partners, who also designed the Estate and the original Hotel at Grace Bay Club, offers guests an enchanting and private sanctuary accented with contemporary art and design. The new pool, more than twice the size of the original, features a twelve-foot glass wall facing the stunning turquoise waters of Grace Bay, creating an aquarium-like experience. This modern design, uncommon in Caribbean resorts, uses a sleek glass barrier that offers unobstructed views of the resort’s 1100-foot beach frontage, the largest in Turks and Caicos.
Enhancements to the poolside area include an expansion and convenient connection to the resort’s renowned Infiniti Bar, the Caribbean’s longest bar at 90 feet. This expansion provides additional oceanfront outdoor space suitable for weddings and group events.
The Anani Spa has also undergone a contemporary redesign, offering guests a more relaxing experience. The enhancements include two new treatment rooms, one featuring an outdoor soaking tub for specialized treatments and a contemporary new fountain. The renovation extends to the expansion of the Relaxation Room and Manicure/Pedicure Room, as well as a complete redesign of the locker rooms. The design palette includes white-washed wood tile, white lacquer wood finishes, contemporary white Corian vanities, translucent walls in the lobby, and elegant linen curtains in the treatment rooms. The new spa merchandising area reflects the tranquility of Turks and Caicos’ tropical surroundings. Additionally, the Fitness Center has been entirely renovated with new flooring, a bright color palette, and four new Life Fitness treadmills.
“Despite the challenging economic environment, we continue to reinvest significant capital in enhancing this successful luxury resort,” commented Mark Durliat, CEO and Owner of Grace Bay Club. “We believe that Turks & Caicos is one of the most promising and popular travel destinations in the Caribbean, and we will continue to execute our strategy based on a long-term view. This vision is further strengthened with the arrival of two newly announced JetBlue flights direct from NYC and Boston in February 2011.”
Grace Bay Club’s dedication to luxury and innovation ensures that guests will enjoy an unparalleled experience, further solidifying the resort’s reputation as a premier Caribbean destination.
