Givenchy Perfume-Inspired Cocktails at London’s Hotel Cafe Royal

A luxurious hotel bar in London has crafted a unique series of cocktails inspired by Givenchy perfumes.

In collaboration with Parfums Givenchy, Hotel Cafe Royal has developed an array of beverages that mimic the essence of L’Atelier de Givenchy, a series of seven haute couture-inspired perfumes, as reported by The Spirits Business.

To replicate the notes found in Cuir Blanc, which include white pepper, white musk, and leather, mixologist Tiziano Tasso from the hotel bar employs Siberian pine needle extract in a Martini-style cocktail, providing the drink with a rich, woody flavor.

Oud Flamboyant, described as ‘strong and mysterious’ with hints of leather, oud, and labdanum, is translated into a cocktail with the use of Japanese whisky and mandarin juice, creating a bold, smoky wood taste.

Each drink in this special collection is priced at £13 (approximately $20).

This exclusive range of cocktails will be available from February 1 to March 31 at the hotel’s Green Bar.

Hotel Cafe Royal is not pioneering the concept of combining cocktails with perfumes.

The Ritz-Carlton hotel in Berlin had previously introduced an interactive experience merging cocktails with perfumes, setting a precedent last year.
