Nov 27, 2023

The Greenwich Hotel in New York City has announced a new partnership with Shinola, a Detroit-based brand known for its luxury handcrafted products such as bicycles, watches, and leather accessories. This collaboration will provide hotel guests with access to Shinola’s “Bixby” bicycles, which are available in both men’s and women’s models and retail for $1950 each. Guests will have the opportunity to use these bicycles during their stay to explore the city.

Situated just a block away from the Hudson River Park, The Greenwich Hotel’s location is ideal for guests looking to take in some of New York City’s best sights. They can enjoy a scenic bike ride from Battery Park to the George Washington Bridge, complete with a gourmet picnic lunch featuring locally sourced ingredients. The Bixby bicycles are designed for urban commuting and are equipped with three speeds, leather saddles, and American-made steel forks and frames, ensuring a smooth and comfortable ride in any weather conditions.

After exploring the city on their Shinola bicycles, guests can visit the Shinola NYC Flagship Store located at 177 Franklin Street in TriBeCa, which is conveniently close to The Greenwich Hotel. At the flagship store, they can browse an extensive collection of watches, leather goods, and journals, and learn more about Shinola’s mission to revitalize American manufacturing and its commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.

The Greenwich Hotel, owned by actor Robert De Niro, is renowned for its boutique luxury experience. The hotel boasts 88 unique rooms and suites, a serene courtyard, the Japanese-inspired Shibui Spa, and the award-winning restaurant Locanda Verde. This new bicycle program with Shinola underscores The Greenwich Hotel’s dedication to offering exceptional and personalized guest services.
